CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – The Cambridge-Guernsey County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) and Cambridge Main Street (CMS) are excited to announce the availability of a Downtown Prospectus. The document details demographic information, outlines recent development projects, lists federal, regional, state and local funding programs and incentives, and provides important contact information for those seeking to invest or operate a business in downtown Cambridge.

“Cambridge Main Street is excited to partner with the CIC on our Downtown Prospectus,” said Karrie Fritz, Director, Cambridge Main Street. “We look forward to presenting it to potential investors and showcasing downtown opportunities,” she said.

The CIC funded development and printing of the prospectus, and Guernsey County OhioMeansJobs assembled and bound the finished documents. Additionally, the CIC worked with CMS to ensure the document would be helpful in its efforts to attract investment and businesses to downtown Cambridge. The CIC and CMS in 2025 will collaborate to develop a downtown Cambridge retail gap analysis and community retail leakage study. The Peoples Bank Foundation is providing a portion of the funding for the 2025 project.

“Downtowns, and specifically those in rural areas, are important to development efforts countywide,” said Bill Arnett, Executive Director, CIC. “Vibrant downtowns are a sign of a strong, local economy, and that resonates with developers, companies, families and individuals who are considering investing or relocating to a community,” Arnett said.
