CAMBRIDGE, Ohio — The Cambridge-Guernsey Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) welcomed new members to its board of trustees at its April meeting. The CIC board in March voted to appoint Allen Hunter and Zach Kent to community representative seats. They replace long-time board members Judge David Bennett and Tom Laughman, Sr.
Mr. Hunter is a local insurance agent, and Mr. Kent is Senior Community Relations Representative for Encino Energy. Their terms run through December 2026.
Another new board of trustee member is Cambridge City Council President Jeff Leonard. Mr. Leonard joined the board of trustees following his appointment as City Council President. Former Council President Bill Cowgill remains on the CIC board by virtue of being one of three Guernsey County Commissioners.
